Post ni aku tulis berdasarkan apa yg aku baca yer, bukan dari otak sendiri, tapi, aku usahakan untuk bagi ayat sesimple mungking. Okayy let's go through!

There are 6 basic types of nutrients that are considered essential to life:
1. PROTEINS
2. CARBOHYDRATES
3. FATS
4. VITAMINS
5. MINERALS
6. WATER
Nutrien di atas memang sangat diperlukan untuk tubuh badan kita untuk berfungi dengan lebih cekap, and your diet is the source of them!
Vitamin dan mineral ni considered as mikronutrien sebab they are needed in small quantities berbanding makronutrien (makronutrien merangkumi protein, karbohidrat dan juga lemak). Mikronutrien ni tidak mengandungi kalori.
Bila badan kita ni kekurangan mikronutrien, kita ni memang sangat berisiko untuk dapat penyakit. Yes, DISEASE! So, it is important to understand what your nutritional needs are and how to reach them.

VITAMIN ni dipecahkan kepada 2 bahagian lagi iaitu:
1. Water-soluble (larut air)
Okay, untuk yang water-soluble vitamin tu, mestilah larut dalam air kan. Maksud dia, leftover amounts tidak akan disimpan dalam badan, ianya akan keluar melalui urine kita. For this reason, you must consume them on continues basis! YA, secara berterusan. Contoh water-soluble vitamin: Vitamin B dan C
2. Fat-soluble (larut lemak) These vitamins need dietary fat in order to be better absorbed in the small intestines. Lepas tu disimpan di dalam hati dan fatty tissues (adipose tissues) untuk kegunaan pada masa diperlukan. These stores can build up so they are there when you need them :') *setia berbakti* Do you know, mega-doses of fat-soluble can be toxic and lead to health problem :O ! Haaaa, kan. EH eh, vitamin larut lemak ni, bukan macam vitamin larut air, senang-senang keluar ikut urine ^^' , fat-soluble memang tidak akan keluar melalui peluh atau urine. Contoh fat-soluble vitamins: Vitamin A, D, E dan K.
